Hi, am off to Towersey in a couple of weeks for the first time on the new site - any hints and tips please? Where is good and not so good to camp? Is there a queue to get in when the campsite opens, like Shrewsbury? Haven't been for about 6 years, so not very clued up.
TIA.

Other than the festival camp site, which has to be paid for, there are no camp sites near Thames. You can try to stay in laybys etc., for the odd night. If you want shower facilities use Thames sports center. Shower costs a pound. There is a small capacity for tents at the three horseshoes in Towered for those attending the singaround. There are no out of hours toilet facilities though. Reserve a tent space on the fb site above. It is a 20minute walk to the fest site. Please come and sing in the barn.
