I heard this song a couple of weeks ago at a Methodist church , and was quite struck by its folk sounding tune , and lyrics . The words and chords can be found on the net

www.spiritualsongs.co.uk gives you a Jacqueline G Jones page but clicking listen reads the page text. How did you get a song?

Verse 2:
Will you use your voice;will you not sit down
when the multitudes are silent?
Will you make a choice to stand your ground
when the crowds are turning violent?

Verse 3:
In your city streets will you be God's heart?
Will you listen to the voiceless?
Will you stop and eat, and when friendships start,
will you share your faith with the faithless?

Verse 4:
Will you watch the news with the eyes of faith
and believe it could be different?
Will you share your views using words of grace?
Will you leave a thoughtful imprint?

I think I've heard the song here in the U.S., but it doesn't seem to be in the major hymnals yet. hymnary.org gives only the one instance Pete cited. #662 in the Singing the Faith hymnal.

Nice song.

Guest I'd say reminiscent of Stairway to Heaven too though on the youtube the text doesn't quite fit the melody used, (or they're not trying hard enough).

Dear Jacqueline,
would it be possible please for our Mortimer Methodist Church to project the words of your beautiful hymn?
Have you heard God's voice; has your heart been stirred

It's in our Singing The Faith #706

Thank you in advance
