22 Aug 17 - 04:58 PM (#3873205) Subject: British Magazines about 1950's,1960's From: GUEST,Lin I am in USA and subscribe to two magazines about everything from music, life, movies, TV programs, schools in those days, etc. One is called "Reminisce" "Reminisce Extra" and the other is called "Remind" that are all published monthly. "Remind" magazine is more of life/music in the 1960's thru the 1980's and has puzzles (crosswords, etc.) One great issue I really like is from March 2017 called Remind - Best of British Invasion. "Reminisce" magazine is about life anywhere from early 1900's thru 1970's. People send in photograph's and stories of themselves and family from those years. Both great magazines. Just many interesting articles as well from life of years ago. I was curious if there are any similar magazines published in UK? What are the titles of these magazines? Are they published monthly like the ones I described above? Are they sold in stores or by subscription only? |
