Tech: Mudcat connecting problem

I haven't been able to access this forum through the usual www.mudcat.org/threads.cfm link for several days, from home (XP) or work (8). All I get are 404 - Not Found messages.

I got here through Mudcat's Facebook page, where Thimbles O'Hooligan posted this link: http://awe.mudcat.org/newmess.cfm#top . Apparently, others have had trouble getting on as well.

Anyone know what's going on?

fixed.

I'm making a rather significant change to how we're hosting mudcat right now, so be patient and let me know if any other issues pop up.

I know the search isn't working right now.

I'll fill ya in as I make a bit more progress.

Max

It's worth waiting for Max. Well apart from the usual suspects!

Hi, Max -
It seems to have more problems on mobile devices, than it does on computers. I can't connect to Mudcat on Google Chrome on my phone, but I can on Firefox.

Not all features are working and I had to come in by naming a server this morning. I always use "Messages since last visit," but that's hanging.

I’m slow on the uptake, but how long have we had “muddy?”

I suggest we wait for Max's explanation, but muddy appears to be new and all the others that I knew of except awe are unavailable. DNS has changed too.

If you have problems connecting I suggest you make sure all bookmarks and shortcuts point only to http://mudcat.org

If that doesn't work then the DNS changes may not have propagated to your ISP.
