Folktrax - CONSTANT BILLY - Jingy Wells

Can anyone help me locate a copy of Folktrax's CD (or download) of FTX-384 - CONSTANT BILLY - William "Jinkey" Wells?

According to the archived Folktrax website Topic Records have the originals but they only seem to be releasing excerpts on compilations and they haven't replied to my enquiry about the availability of the complete recording.

What happened to Camsco Music?

I am happy to pay for it!

Regards
Greenie

I believe that Keith Chandler has done considerable research on Mr. Wells - and that his nickname was - "Jingy".........as in thread title. His given names were William Nathan Wells.

Jinky, Jingy, Jinkey .... I think we're all putting too much emphasis on the spelling of the written name ... this was an oral nickname.... perhaps it just depends how you hear it spoken.

ok fair enough, perhaps he should have been called singy, since he sang whilst playing.
