At this time of year
I always think of the schoolchildren
parodying Oh My Darling Clementine
by substituting the name Frankenstein instead
-- and with such enthusiasm.

I once heard Archie Fisher sing "Tam Lin" on BBC Radio 3 circa 1984.
(the tune he sang is the one I know as the tune often used for willie o'winsbury)

Is this performance on one of Archie's LPs or was it from a BBC Session ?
If the latter can anyone persuade the BBC to broadcast it again.

As a change from all that lovely music try a tale from Eddie Lenihan about Sean O'Connor and his pact with him down there.
The actual story is from about 8:30 to 22:00 but the rest of his chat sets the scene well.

(not Halloween)And at 24:00 hear about Owen O'Suillevan, pewter plates and the fern seed which confers invisibility.
