Googling Ringwood Folk Club gives top results in Australia!

This is the link to the UK site :

Hi Al - your website has blank pages when clicking on the Gigs and Photo Gallery links. Any chance of an update?

i honestly don't think anyone is interested Will. i will try, but i don't find the technology easy.
i had more or less retired from gigging but i've recently lost three stone (another 6 to go!) and its made me feel a bit more energised - so i've got a few local gigs.

thank you for your interest though. its very kind and i appreciate your post.

I used to write my owm html code for my website but now I use Weebly, which can be free and is relatively easy to create and update.

Just a thought. :-)

Most pubs and a lot of Folk events like sessions are using Fakebook these days. I find a lot of their websites have lapsed or are just plain out of date.

Me? I generate the HTML from VBA (macros) in Excell - how nerdy is that?

(Ringwood is a bit out of my chosen coverage)

PS I hear a lot of superb comments about Sunjay. I hope to hear him at a festival soon.
Not had much success getting answers from the Stourbridge Folk Club/Festival he is associated with. Having found their Fakebook - try again.

November 28th Support Act to Sunjay at Ringwood Folk Club
December 16th The Horse and Groom, Wareham
December 24th The Royal Portland Arms, Portland - early start 5pm
December 31st The Ship Inn, Wool
January 17th The Oddfellows Arms, Wimborne

not much I'm afraid. I've been out of the game a long time, but I'm in a period of weight loss which seems to be giving me a bit of extra energy - thus there are a few gigs. There will be more, but I can't imagine charging up and down the country at my time of life. I'm just trying to pick up a little local work.

New Year's Eve at the Ship at Wool, eh? I know the pub, though I haven't been there for years. As I recall, there used to be a very nice tea shop, further up the road, not far from Wool bridge. Happy days in one of my favourite counties!

He is a superb performer and nice guy. Saw him at Irvine, where I was floor singing some months back. Is he still Buddy Holly?

I'm a seasoned performer.
So no need to bring condiments.

Al - good luck with the gig tonight. Hope it goes well for you. Break a leg - as they say.
