Maddie seemed a little out of tune and the timing did not seem quite right. Than a man came a did something on an on-stage console and it all magically got better :-) I have been told by musician friends who know about these things that the fall back monitors can be out of phase and that can cause these things to happen. No idea if that is what happened here but the rest of the concert went swimmingly. Best version of Tam Lin I have heard live. Jessie May Smart works wonders and Benji Kirkpatrick is a great asset. Long may they run :-) Joe Brown in February next. DtG |
