Just to flag up that if you fancy some culture this weekend we will be singing at Leith Hill Place near Dorking in Surrey (the childhood home of Ralph Vaughan Williams) This is a National Trust property tomorrow and then at Hever Castle near Edenbridge Kent on Sunday. Full details are linked on our website diary page

In addition to that, Sarah, you will be getting some Stateside airplay when I'll be hosting "Ballads In The Morning" on the morning of Friday, December 8th on WOWD-LP Community Radio 94.3 FM in Takoma Park Maryland, streamable worldwide at takomaradio.org. That Secret Santa gift you sent me is reaping unexpected benefits for you, and hopefully somebody will say, "More again!" after they hear you folks sing "Herod and the Cock".

I reckon if I can make my UK friends famous enough to warrant a tour, it's the only way I'll ever be able to afford to see you unless they come over for Getaway. Granted, it's just a community radio station with a 5-10 mile footprint at best, but you are now of international renown. Don't hold your breath for the royalty checks, because last I checked, we still don't have any royalty here, Disney movies making all the little girls want to be princesses, notwithstanding.....

...but you never know who is out there listening

We can say "as heard in the US of A" tomorrow at Hever Castle in the rain - hoping they will take pity on us poor wassailers and let us sing inside!
