Princeton is about 300 km (200 miles) E of Vancouver (about a three-hour drive through spectacular landscape). A free festival, and entirely volunteer-run, open to all performers of traditional music. Two outdoor stages, one indoor. The festival starts Friday night with a free public dance in the town square (this year it's English country dance!). Presentations, workshops, concerts, panels, from 10am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. About 120 performers. Glorious countryside (semi-desert, mountains), an ideal vacation spot, too.
