20 Dec 99 - 09:23 PM (#152198) Subject: Wishing you a very Mudcat Christmas! From: Barry T As Christmas approaches I find myself reflecting on the friendship and pleasure that this Mudcat forum provides. I stop by every day of the year without fail... the only site in cyberspace that I can say that about. Though I do more lurking than chatting, I marvel at the welcome and friendship extended to all who enter.
Since we can't celebrate together in the traditional sense, I wish to share with you a musical message from the Great White North. (Java enabled browser required)
The midi sequence is from my mousepad to you. The image and the magic snow is courtesy of Cloud 8 Internet Designs.

From: Banjer Due to some self-inflicted technical problems, (I am attempting to make some internal modifications to the pewter and learning as I go) I have not been on here much of late. Happy to report however that as soon as the modem gets changed from the 33 to the 56, I will be back full time and better than ever. I would like to wish each and everyone here at the village of Mudcat a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and best wishes for the holiday season to all!! |
21 Dec 99 - 03:48 AM (#152341) Subject: RE: Wishing you a very Mudcat Christmas! From: Helen Barry, Are you the Barry Taylor of Taylor's Tunebook? I can't tell you how many times I have visited and listened to those beautiful tunes and arrangements. If I weren't already learning an instrument I would have become hooked for sure just by listening to all of those tunes. It's the arrangements I love the most, so if it is your site - thank you, thank you, thank you. And thanks very much for the beautiful card & music. Wishing you the best for the festive season, the New Year/Millenium celebrations and the New Year itself. Helen |

From: northfolk/al cholger Friends, I recently heard Joel Mabus make the remark that the thing he liked most about Christmas was that it was the one time of the year that the radio stations played folk music all day and all night.
