04 Apr 18 - 10:35 AM (#3915157) Subject: RE: Montana Guitar From: GUEST It looks as if Kaman used the "Montana" name, probably for lower end instruments made in the far east? Models seem to start MT? There was a KJ 141 on ebay uk listed at £2000 but it looks like there were problems with that auction. |
04 Apr 18 - 11:17 AM (#3915164) Subject: RE: Montana Guitar From: Bee-dubya-ell If I recall correctly, Montana Guitars was a division of Kaman Musical Instruments, the original builders of Ovation and Adamas guitars. But it's unlikely Kaman had much to do with the design and production of the guitars. "Montana" was likely just one of the many "badges" under which several companies marketed virtually identical Korean-built guitars. |
