It was an issue of Gramophone magazine and it pulled up a paragraph from a review. The Gramophone review title-checks the song "I've been thrown out of better places than this" calling it "very crude." No mention of author credit. But they do mention that a vocal GROUP sings it, accompanied by a small ensemble of musicians led by one Pasquale Troise, he of Troise and his Mandoliers. Mostly worked in England although he was born in Italy. Died before 1960. |
