The ONLY version I have ever heard is from a square dance with the following chorus line:

02 May 18 - 01:26 PM (#3921662) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Please Pass The Kisses From: Jim Dixon The song PLEASE PASS THE KISSES has been translated into Danish as GEM DINE ROSER(literally SAVE YOUR ROSES) (or was it the other way round?), and there are two libraries in Denmark that hold the sheet music. Because of this, we can identify the songwriter as Harlan Howard. It was published in Denmark in 1962. Wikipedia says Jan Howard (b. 1929) was the wife of Harlan Howard (1927-2002) |
