Many of you may not know that women born in the 1950s/60s70s in the UK have had Six/Seven YEARS added to their State Pension Age, without warning for most, in 2 separate increases, 5 years back in 1995, in the name of 'equality' ....and yet another in 2011, when men too had an extra year added also. This is the breaking of our State Pension Contract and the 1950s women, many of whom are left in absolute destitution, thrust into the Welfare State to survive where they're treated appallingly, like all others within out system now...or they're selling off their homes, belongings, sofa-surfing, losing all their savings, become suicidal, some even now having taken their own lives, no longer able to survive this hell. We have just £6,000 left to raise in our latest crowdfunder, which is for the final part of legal letters being sent to the govt, and after govt has replied, then it will be into Court we go, with Michael Mansfield, QC, leading us into battle. Each of us has been robbed of over £50,000, plus our free bus passes (in England) and heating allowances and pension credit. We're being verbally abused by the financial institutions and private pensions sector, on the internet, in the most shocking display of bullying I've ever seen.... Michael Mansfield is absolutely clear on this, that our contract was 60 and no other age and we've all paid in exactly and more that was required, keeping our side of this legal promise. If you'd like to contribute, no matter how small the amount, please feel free to do so. I know Jo, who runs BackTo60, which is the main campaign taking govt to Court now...and she started up OneVoice, trying to get all the different groups to come together as one. Michael Mansfield's partner, Yvette, is also helping as much as she can, and both of them are turning up for us, without charge, at protests and to take petition of over 725,000 now, to 10 Downing Street, standing alongside us all in often freezing temperatures, bless them both, to show their solid support. Michael and Yvette also run the Silence of Suicide Campaign, they both having lost family members/friends to suicide.
