Happy Christmas from Down Under

G'day & Happy Christmas. It's already 2 hours old here. I'd have started this thread earlier, but I just got back from my first midnight mass. It had a bit of an orange tinge with Alison & myself there. What's the world coming to when the Catholics need to rely on a couple of prods for their music???

Have a safe & happy holiday,

Cheers,
Alan

Hey, ya'll

I remember leaving,Adelaide XMas eve,1990. Santa playing his Tuba in red bermuda shorts for the Salvation Army in city center,30 digeredoo players with cases open, lined up down the street looking for a buck.

I flew for a week, it seemed... got to Atlanta,Ga...cold rain. Had to drive on the wrong side of the road to my home some 60 miles away on Interstate Hiways with too many other people to get home. I made it.. on Xmas Eve,32 hours after leaving Adelaide...space travel and culture shock, hand in hand!

Hope you have a wonderful bottle of Borassa's best and someone to share it with! Happy Boxing Day.

Patrick R.

Hi all,

It's 8.32 am on Christmas morning. I nearly came in & dialed up to leave a message at midnight last night, but... thanks Alan for having the same thought.

Yes, it's sunny here, and Bruce & I are heading up the coast to visit his family for a couple of days & then my back here to see my family on Monday.

So, I hope you all have a Mudcattin' Christmas & New Millenium clelbrations & a fantastic New Millenium too. I'll be having a *harpy* Christmas, on Monday when my sister (flute) brother in law (guitar) & I will be playing some Chrissy music for the family, so we'll play a few tunes for all my wonderful Mudcat friends.

I love you all .... yes, even you gargoyle, my new-found friend in dyslexia.

Helen

If this is "down under" then I'll sum to a "Merry Christmas" to all Mudcatters from this hemisphere. And thanks to all for all the things I learnt from you, and all the fun and the sadness we have shared.

Well 'Spaw, I used the fishnet hose as a Christmas stocking & you should have seen what jumped out of it when I woke up this morning.......... The teddy bear suit's still lying where it fell.
