He gave me a CD about a year later so I learnt it and have sang and played it many times since and made many friends with the song which never passes without comment. I used to be doorman and beer tester in chief at the Lion :-) I moved away about 5 years ago and do not get there often now but the last time, a couple of months back, was to a 'Pete Ryder and friends' night. He is as good as ever :-) His 'friends' nights are one Friday a month but not sure which - There is a 'Pete Ryder and friends' facebook page if you want to keep in touch. |
