British Country seems to have taken off in a big way. These youngsters are rocking them in the aisles in Nashville and Memphis as well as at home. They appear to be good at what they are doing but rocking them in in the aisles of Nashville and Memphis while showing an acoustic guitar doesn't make it country or folk for that matter. |

In the interview they commented that they were led down the Country route by Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn but were then totally bowled over by the Dixie Chicks. Purely out of interest. I really do not wish to start a similar discussion to 'what is folk' about Country. I just enjoyed their stuff and am now listening to their entire output on Spotify :-) |
