Today I heard 'Let's Work Together' by Canned Heat used. Can't remember what the advert was for. Some music seems to be specially composed for ads and is catchy. Interested to discuss music used in ads? Real - and imaginary examples welcome! Can we beat Victoria by Kinks used in ads for Victoria Plumbing? |

There's a Squarespace ad which has that 'Mini mini mini' song by Jacques Dutronc from the sixties. It's all very delightful for an old biddy like me because I remember those days with enormous nostalgic pleasure. Also, the old songs were the best... |

Rather embarrassingly the ad is for a remedy for Erectile Dysfunction, and involves a ghastly-looking chap dancing round his bedroom in triumph while his wife/girlfriend looks on beaming. Makes me cringe, but I used to adore Steve Harley. |
