Probably the best episode ever.

Rosa Parkes as I never understood before. USA, you are in for a treat.

A relative in Massachusetts saw it and said it was great.

I have to admit I was concerned how they could make 'Rosa' - alien shoot-'em-ups in such an important event? But I was completely wrong;' it is excellent. I particularly liked the uncertainty in Graham's face during a specific few seconds, as he has to fight a whole mass of conflicting feelings.

I thought it was really good, but I wish they'd had some sympathetic white person. Not everybody was a bigot. Would've loved if that older couple had turned out to have tattooed numbers on their arms, and maybe only warned them. Still, it was good.

Dammit, I'd given up on Doctor Who - loved the first episode with the new Doctor, but the second episode was such a stinker that I didn't bother with the third! Now I'll never see it!

Also, dammit, I'm going to be muttering "Pink pineapple, shaky tree" now.

I'm in Florida for 2 weeks. How can I watch the next episodes with no access to BBC iPlayer?

As you're resident in UK BBC iPlayer should still have them when you return.
If you've taken a Netflix account you should be able to access them anywhere, by computer.
When I was in Canada (ten days ago) they were advertising the new series almost at the same time as UK, this might also be the case in US.

We get BBC America. If you're in a hotel with TV, you likely have it.

I stopped watching DR Who, after the 2nd episode. I thought William Hartnell was better in Carry on Sergeant.

It was the Army Game I think, Al.

Nope, Al is quite correct: Carry on Sergeant IMDb
Hartnell was also in some episodes of The Army Game.

Wiki Entry for 'The Army Game
"Many stars, including Charles Hawtrey, William Hartnell, Bernard Bresslaw, Alfie Bass and Dick Emery became household names, and appeared in the Carry On films, which began with Carry On Sergeant, virtually a spin-off.

The Army Game aired before the carry on films and Hartnell was in the early series. I never saw carry on sergeant. Not that any of this matters in the slightest to anyone but a pedant...

The latest episode should be avoided by aracnophobes. I don't usually have problems with spiders, but this was worrying.
Also the main antagonist seemed to be based on a certain 'Mr Trump'.

Actually, Trump was mentioned as the guy's competitor. Similar class of jerks, I guess. What I found strange was the Doctor didn't want him to shoot them, but locking them in a room to kill them was fine. I missed how they were actually supposed to die.

There was certainly an oddity about the morality of killing the creatures in different ways. And a level of sympathy for the adult which did not seem to apply to the offspring. All a bit confused at that point I thought.

I strongly suspect the owner of the hotels will show up in a later episode.

Made me think of Aragog in Harry Potter, and how Potter and the other humans had a conversation with him, but his offspring were trying to eat them. Adults: ok, offspring: not so much.

Spiders or Humans, we're all the same (^_^)

What I don't get is why the service police officer did not arrest the hotel owner for firearms offences.

Loved the Trump references used to describe the Trump-like character.
I believe the spiders were meant to live out their natural days in the sealed room, though this doesn't bear close examination or indeed any examination at all - a bit like Trump's tax returns and policies.
