Altho you may be surprised to know that in our winter (Your summer) we have in the southern parts of Australia, the most extensive snowfields in the southern hemisphere. (much larger than Switzerland for instance.) Once, doing a gig on a tourist bus, going through the tropical rainforest, a delightfully dotty lady from Newark NJ commented that "It must be real pretty when it snowshere dear."
