I am in Cairns (Tropical North Australia) the nearest snow at this time of year is probably in Antartica.
Altho you may be surprised to know that in our winter (Your summer) we have in the southern parts of Australia, the most extensive snowfields in the southern hemisphere. (much larger than Switzerland for instance.)
Once, doing a gig on a tourist bus, going through the tropical rainforest, a delightfully dotty lady from Newark NJ commented that "It must be real pretty when it snowshere dear." Who was I to dissillusion her?
