OK, all you Christmas Expatriates...

ICQ # is 46916679

Get online, discuss your christmas happiness, sadness or anything else relating to the music we love.

Do it! NOW!!!

We're a community, like it or not, and music binds us. In this most musical of seasons when even the uninitiated spring into carols, it's nice to still keep in touch.

For the first time in twelve years, Christmas dinner was not at my house. We tried, but an allergic reaction to a medicine left me in the ER on Christmas Eve. My mom came through and had the dinner at her house, we had a great time. After returning home, we had friends from out of town show up unexpectedly at our house. We then left the home place and went to friends and played music for about four hours. We just got home and everyone is asleep except for me who is wide awake on steroids to keep from getting hives again. I've got hives for Christmas(sung to the words of I'll be home for Christmas). some how it turned out to be a great day. And i learned about five new tunes. Kristi

Fear not Spaw, we are all about to become 21st Century Luddites. Pokemon Sucks, Beannie Babies Rule OK. (At least thats what my daughter says) The characters are more cuddly too. ICQ is a mystery to me too, but my son is going to be appointed official "teenager" soon; as such he will enlighten me into the mysteries of VCR programming and more of this (wonder of wonder) strange laptop, (its as big as my first calculator) and the magic ( all done with electrickery) it can perform. After enlightenment I hope to join ye all in song. Yours, Aye. Cordially, Dave

Thank God for relatives and friends with cash. I cannot be bankrupted by beannies, slaves don't get paid.... (a laughing cat would make a grand figurehead for the "Schooner Mudcat") Yours, Aye. Dave

Hey, DavetAM, if I can be bare-breasted, out-front, up-front and facing the wind, I am there, laughing out loud!

Tastes like chicken you say Dave; what is a collection of Pokemon collectively known as, a herd or flock? I am assuming there is no season or bag limit? Does one need shotgun or rifle for the hunt? Special call or decoys? wonder if we'll see commercially raised ones? Kentucky fried Pokemon anyone? how about a Mac Jigglypuff burger. Wonderfull creatures, and if they taste that good, we're in luck they are not on the endangered species list.Yours, Aye. Dave

Before Christmas, Karen and I made a trek to the "Pokemon and Beanie Baby Haven," a smallish building between Columbus and Delaware PACKED with Pokemon effluvia at reasonable(?) prices. Karen had heard about it on the Morning Zoo (drive-time DJ's). They had offered a $500.00 Gift Certificate to the first person to call-in and volunteer to have Pikachu tatooed on their ass. Within a minute, a mother of three got the Gift Certificate. Would you have your ass tatooed for your kids? Well, not for Pokemon anyway...........

Are you all aware that "Pokemon" is short for "Pocket Monster?" I'm surprised there aren't more jokes on that...obviously the infamous, male "comeback, cover-all" line works quite well in this case:

"Hey...I gotcher Pokemon right here."

If you had treated the infections (on various parts of the anatomy of sailors) like I had to aboard ships, you would understand why I never had one done on me.... (my nickname on one ship was: Doctor Dave) Not to mention the shame and embarrassment of waking up with the wrong womans name emblazoned in colour on your chest or arm. (try going home and explaining that one to the "little woman") (I think thats why God invented cast iron frying pans) But a Peekachu Ass? one begs to see such a rare and glorius sight. Will the kids collect and sell photo's of it? Cordially, Aye. Dave

Ah, now, not all of 'em are done in less than sterile conditions and not all are done while someone is in their cups, (or out for that matter, with a nod to the gents*BG*). The only problem I have with m'flowers is they never get enough sunshine!
