On the kind of day people stay inside I get on my bike and ride. I remember long ago, when I was very small, A three-wheeled trike, all white and red's what I wanted most of all. On the pedals wooden blocks till my feet could reach. I'd ring the bell and toot the horn, for I had one of each. Riding, riding on my bike is the kind of thing that I really like Let the raindrops rain, let the cold wind blow, I'll get on my bike and go! The song leader (whose name I of course do not remember) of the children mentioned the composer's name. It wasn't clear whether it was someone he knew, someone famous, or both. I have never found the song since. It must be fairly well-known, because typing in "riding riding on my bike" in Google brings up "is the kind of thing that I really like song" automatically, but clicking on that results in nothing useful, mainly other songs about bikes. Any help appreciated, thanks. |
