22 Dec 18 - 09:27 AM (#3967848) Subject: Lyr Req: My Heart's Like the Lilac-French version From: GUEST,Katherine Rhoda In the 1954 edition of "Junior-Book 2" of the "Oxford School Music Books" series (UK), there's a French folksong rendered into English as "My Heart's Like the Lilac", with the French title represented as "Mon Coeur Est un Bouquet de Lilas". Web searches for both phrases yield nothing useful. Can anyone share the French version, please, or suggest a line of search? Thank you very much! |

Mudcatter Monique knows a lot about French song, I'll message her and see if she knows it. Mick |

"Les chants du "Terrouër de Brye" isn't in the public domain so it can't be found to browse anywhere online. It's been reedited as "Rondes et chants du pays briard" that you can buy here. It seems the song can also be found in Chantez en chœur..." Collection Semailles-1950 (#19) that you can buy here. That's all I could find online. |
