I was camera operator there for some years....capturing highlights of the event which were streamed over the web. late january, early february each year... this year marked the 35th one with current personell, and there was a gathering held there for several years prior by a woman who taught at the local college. Sarah Sweetwater is not often credited with starting this event, but she was at it long before the Western Folklife Center was created. (R.I.P.
