would like to contact Jon Heslop

If he sees this or if someone knows him personally, could you ask him to check for a PM. I would like to record one of his songs and pay royalties.

I did try replying to this but for some unknown reason my reply failed to appear so I'll try again.
My email is hslpjnthnhslp@aol.com
Failing that try MGAS or Leadfingers.
Jon

I think you can pm named guests: it's the un-named ones that don't work!

Nope. Only registered and logged-in Mudcatters can send and receive messages. It's not prejudice - that's just the mechanics of the system.

No, our messaging system depends on cookies that you get when you register as a member. Our membership isn't like joining a club - it's just a way of getting access to features of Mudcat that won't work unless a person is identified.

So, it surprises me when people huffily "resign" from Mudcat because they've been insulted or something - the membership is essentially meaningless, but it does give a person access to certain features.

I also am surprised by those guests who expect access to Mudcat features without being registered. It's not a matter of discriminating against guests. It's just a way of getting access.

To protect his email address from getting spammed, I will delete it as as soon as I get acknowledgement from mg that she has received the information.

I guess Joe got no acknowledgement, I hope Jon got the royalties, however, especially if he is the rogue I knew in Norfolk.

awesome songwriter.
So it appears that MG got the message, and that this matter is settled.
