Take one for the team prove you are real friends and keep trump there for us. How about it? All we ask is one little favor

Up here in Ontario, we’ve been waiting for them to accept delivery of Conrad Black for ages.

If you really want us to keep Trump, the least you could do in return is to keep Gordon Ramsay (and I'm sure I could think of a few others).

London (CNN)President Donald Trump swept into Britain Monday throwing rhetorical punches, blasting a prominent local critic(mayor of London) as "a stone cold loser" at the start of a state visit.
The lefties are still reeling. He can stay for ever if he continues his good works.
Good on you Donald! The blimp has been trumped!

The president and First Lady Melania Trump will be guests of the Queen and attend a ceremony in Portsmouth to mark 75 years since the D-Day landings.

As the leader of the US he deserves respect. Without lease/lend, American Forces and American Manufacturing superiority WW2 would have ended badly for Britain. Sneering at the US representative prior to these ceremonies is a strange way of expressing gratitude.

Just imagining the media and diplomatic ramifications
if the Queen was to have a sudden massive deadly heart attack
and drop dead on the spot upon meeting and greeting Trump...

.. and in his next twiter.. who would he blame for that...???

Sneer away. He had nothing to do with it and would have prevented it if he had.

Iains - In respect for his office as president,
trump the man should be tolerated without any protests spoiling D Day commemorations...

Only the worst liability knobheads on the left would be so ill disciplined and irresponsible
to commit such an idiotic home goal...

[or more likely, agent provocateurs dressed up as lefties...???]

President Andrew Jackass is a festering pustule on the backside of humanity. If he'd been of draft age in 41-42 his daddy would have bought him as many exemptions as necessary to keep him in New York grabbing pussy and declaring bankruptcy while the Nazis were stepping on the throat of Europe and incinerating Jews, Gypsies and any other ethnic groups they considered unworthy of living. Further,if he'd been president during that era there would have been no D-Day as I'm sure he and Hitler would have gotten along swimmingly. He's not my president (he wasn't even democratically elected by any stretch of the imagination)and he's well-deserving of any disrespect and protests coming his way.
It's sad to see the U.K. taking the same sorry path as the U.S. and bowing to the powers of greed and hatred.

Trump is not coming to Scotland. The message from last year probably got through.

There were demos all over the country. The Edinburgh one was enormous (though eclipsed by the independence demo later in the year). An endearing feature was the huge number of Americans present to tell NotTheirPresident to fuck off and die - lots of very clever placards only an American could have stood behind, and the only progressive manifestation I've been at where people were carrying American flags as a non-ironic statement, that their country deserved better.

In fact there were so many there that I think this may have been the largest gathering of Americans ever assembled in Scotland. Presumably the same story in England this year - hardly any Americans who own a passport and have used it will have any time for that moronic fascist.

Wow, "a pickled intestine in a suit with shitty egg-feather hair" that guy nailed it. I love him. The EU is going to look pretty good after you all have chapped your lips on the rancid hind quarters of the Orange Blob.

"As the leader of the US he deserves respect." Have you forgotten that this is the monster who sanctioned the stealing of children from their mothers on the southern border? He "deserves respect"??

Jack. Were you thinking about the battle for Stalingrad by any chance,.

It's often referred to as one of the most decisive battles of that war;if not one of the most decisive battles in history.

Cheers

The battle of Kursk was what really finished off the German army. Without that, they could easily have seen off the Allied invasion.

The Soviets who started the war with the Germans on the same side as the Germans. And then were supplied by the United States with billions in armaments and trucks, and over timed used many of those trucks to relocate entire minorities. And killed off their Soviet prisoners and treated their returned captured Russian soldiers no better.

And of course D-Day followed upon the Battle of the Atlantic (submarine war) North Africa, Sicily and Italy.

Some sideshows.

call me a pedant but PFR is an initialism, not an acronym.

And according to acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/PFR PFR is short for Peak Urinary Flow Rate which it isn't but could be pronounced if done properly, and thus would be an acronym. I bet pfr will be amused!

Hey! Doesn't pfr work in a supermarket? - Which sort of makes him a Grocer, and Grocers do what Grocers do with apostrophes ........................

Supermarket...!!!???

I suggest you are mistaking me for someone who works in a supermarket...

What a weird turn this thread took while I was away doing real 3D world stuff...

I have poor reading vision now I'm an old bloke,
which is even worse when my brain is fuddled and half asleep, groggy from waking up..

Hence my clumsy typing..

..and my PC's spell check stopped working ages ago..

Anyway, the "P" in PFR certaintly doesn't stand for "Pedantic"...

But, whatever keeps you amused...???
