Hi Recently acquired some song books that I am not likely to use.

1. The National Song Book. Hardback but poor condition. No date on it but I would guess 1950s. 180 pages. Rhythmic series published by Boosey & Co. Interesting sections inside giving the Welsh titles of Welsh songs and a glossary of Scotch(sic) words.

2,3,4,5,6. BBC Broadcast to schools paperbacks, each about 25 pages long. Titled "Singing together. Rhythm and melody." Dates: Autumn 1952, Spring 1953, Summer 1953, Summer 1954, Spring 1955.

7. The penguin Song Book. Leslie Woodgate. Last date in the reprints given as 1958. Paperback. 190 or so pages.

I can photo the indexes and let you have a link if required.

Anyone interested in having any or all of them, let me know. I will post them free of charge. Just make a donation to your favourite charity. First come first served. Unless someone comes late and spins a good yarn why they should have them :-)

I thought for a minute that I'd missed out there. My collection of Singing Together is complete from 1953 to 1984, so I had to check for the 1952 one. Fortunately that isn't one I'm missing.
