Took a 3year old to think of THAT one! She even wipes his bottom and 'shakes the drips off', mmmmm, on reflection, I'm not sure letting her go to the toilet with daddy is a good idea now..... LTS |

03 Jan 00 - 06:28 PM (#157551) Subject: RE: Where's Barbie? From: One year I searched high and low to find an anatomically correct doll for my son, thinking it was important to let him play with a baby because someday he'd be a daddy, too, and he should have some experience building his nurturing side, etc., etc. The doll had a little button on the back so you could feed him his bottle (which looked like it had milk in it, but you filled it with water) and he'd actually WET. Still, Austin hardly ever played with it, but one day our minister and his wife came to our house for Sunday dinner and Austin brings out "Tommy" and I thought how nice it was that he was going to play with his doll now. Turns out he was merely coming to fill Tommy up with water so he could show the minister's son how cool it was to use Tommy's pee-pee as a water pistol. So much for that experiment...
