The pretext could equally well have been mandolin strings, train fares or shaving soap. |

Note, however, that there was a lengthy thread about Walter Pardon just this last November, and it may not be time for another one quite yet. That thread was closed because it was taken over by people getting offended about bananas or something equally ridiculous.
