If you visit the following you can hear our version that we learned from the late pal and singer, Ray Driscoll, in Padstow some years back. He said it was sung in his family in the East End of London during his youth.

Starship,
I cannot shed any light on the situation. If you wish, send me an e-mail link john.hhills@btinternet.com and I shall send it in mp3 format to you.

John

I'm going to spend less time on this site due to this and that, but many thanks, John. You are most kind.
