Lively singalong songs

Our ukulele group plays at senior residential facilities. We love to engage them in lively singalong songs. Rattlin Bog has been a current favorite. And Do Wa Ditty, Dum Ditty Do.    Do you have any other suggestions.    Please, not You Are My Sunshine.    We need some fresh, easy to catch on tunes.

I have a book I put together with 300 songs we play on ukulele in the medical wing of our retirement community. PM me if you want a copy.

I'm hers, she's mine, wedding bells are gonna chime...

Hal Leonard has a Facebook called "The Daily Ukulele," with lyrics, melody notation, and uke chords for 365 songs. It was a great success, so then they came out with a "Leap Year Edition, with...366 (!) additional songs. Both are great collections.

I'd like to hear a uke band do "Ghost Riders in the Sky."

Depends a bit where you're from, and therefore what songs they might know.
A little group I played with used to do songs from the late 50s, early 60s playing for senior citizens in their 70s/80s- Buddy Holly, Elvis, Lonnie Donegan, Beach Boys, Beatles, etc, all went down well, and they knew the words better than us! But being in Scotland, we would play a few of the Scottish old standards - Westering Home, Skye Boat Song, Mairi's Wedding, etc.
And by the way: they LOVE "You are my Sunshine"!! What's wrong with it? I used to cry crocodile tears in the sad verse, and make them laugh!
