06 Mar 20 - 11:14 AM (#4037904) Subject: RE: Ireland's Eurovision Entry From: Jack Campin Ridiculous fake American accent punctuated by weird gasps. I couldn't make out a word. Terrific video production though. |
06 Mar 20 - 11:58 AM (#4037914) Subject: RE: Ireland's Eurovision Entry From: GUEST It seems very 'woke' (if I've got this new word correct!) I liked the video very much. Anyone think it has some chance of scoring points in the Contest? |

06 Mar 20 - 12:06 PM (#4037916) Subject: RE: Ireland's Eurovision Entry From: GUEST,Modette There's a danger it might win, but the Irish economy's booming again so we can probably afford to mount the affair in 2021. Here's the 'official' video. As for her accent, she sounds like a typical Dub and her enunciation is perfectly clear to me. You should be glad, Jack, that it's not this Derry girl performing Ireland's entry - Nadine Coyle. |

07 Mar 20 - 06:14 AM (#4038047) Subject: RE: Ireland's Eurovision Entry From: Backwoodsman It’s a decently-produced pop song, in the vein that pop songs are currently floating around in. She sings in a ‘fake’ voice, and with the standard strange accent and diction that actually exists nowhere on earth outside the Pop-Music-Bubble. It will probably do very well in the EVSC. |
