10 May 20 - 09:13 AM (#4051608) Subject: RE: BS: 0151 numbers From: Steve Shaw I used to get loads of spam calls from 0151 numbers (it's the Liverpool code), as well as from 0161 numbers and a miscellany of others. I don't answer and I block the number (which you can do on iPhones and on my BT house phone). |

11 May 20 - 08:05 AM (#4051783) Subject: RE: BS: 0151 numbers From: Mr Red there are loadsa whocalledme type websites if you wanted more info - assuming someone has already posted the number. So many websites you have to look at a few to make it informative. There is a problem with the reported numbers, not sure it is still true but numbers can be cloaked/spoofed and would suspect the spammers/scammers have a list of unused/impossible numbers. Impossible numbers exist for error checking in mis-dialling or errors in the transmission system. |

If I don't know anyone in, say, Bliss, Idaho why I just don't answer and then put the number in a blocked condition. If you're not certain, let 'em leave a message. |
