I donate to the local Harry Chapin food bank and will send a chunk of my stimulus check to it, if it ever arrives. Here in Florida folks are having a difficult time getting unemployment insurance and many families are going hungry. |

I'm still making masks that I've giving to people, something that helps with their safety without being a dollar donation (it's my time and resources instead). I may have made three dozen masks by now? I'm also picking up take-out at a couple of my favorite restaurants; when you go pick it up they get the entire fee, if you use a delivery service they barely break even. Plan what you order so it will be several meals for you. Even if you have a modest retiree income, you can help. |
