Send soldier and standard to fall to the ground Freedom is worth all the struggle and sweat Step up to the battle like Jeanne Hachette. I heard it from Mary Bertke at the Bray Singers' Circle. Apparently, Mary wrote it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNLMxHnyJDI Mary says in the chat at Bray: I hadn't heard of her until I went looking for stories of medieval women fighters. They held a march in her honor every year for more than 600 years. It was discontinued for awhile in the early 1900s, but it seems they've started the practice again - a friend happened to be in Beauvais on June 27.
