THE LADIES AND GENTLEMAN
(Tune: "Irish Washer Woman" or "Turkey In the Straw")

Ohhhhh, the ladies and gentlemen stand in a ring,
And the ladies take hold of the gentleman's thing,
And they all back away with their ass to the wall,
And they shoulder their ball and they promenade all.

Ohhhhh, the first lady forward, the second one back,
While the third lady tickles the fourth lady's crack,
And they all back away with their ass to the wall,
And they shoulder their ball and they promenade all.

Ohhhhh, the first lady stands and the second one sits,
And the gentlemen grab for the third lady's tits,
And they all back away with their ass to the wall,
And they shoulder their ball and they promenade all.

Ohhhhh, the ladies all bow while the gentlemen pass,
With the odd partners kissing the fourth lady's ass,
And the ladies and gentlemen gingerly truck,
As all partners fall down to the floor for a fuck.

This is from the 1945 mimeographed songbook Aloha Jigpoha published by the Navy translators stationed at Honolulu.

THE FIRST LADY FORWARD
(Tune: Turkey in the Straw)

Oh, the cat couldn't kitten, and the dog couldn't pup
And the old man couldn't get his proposition up;
Oh the first lady forward and the second lady back
And the third lady's finger up the forth lady's crack.

Bow to your partners, swing your pole;
Kiss my ass, God-dman your soul;
Oh, the first lady forward and the second lady back
And the third lady's finger up the fourth lady's crack.

From a ca 1943 untitled marine songbook.

The "First lady forward..." couplet also appears in the version of "The Ball of Kirriemuir that I learned at St Andrews University in 1958.

Oh! the cat couldn't kitten, and the dog couldn't pup,
And the old man couldn't get his proposition up.
Oh! the first lady forward and the second lady back,
And the third lady's finger up the fourth lady's crack.
Swing yer partner! Grease yer pole!
Go to Hell, God damn yer soul!

pg 136 of the Canfield Collection (ca 1926). This important collection of 307 pages of bawdy songs, rhymes, and ditties is comparable to the Gordon "Inferno" Collection. See here: https://archive.org/details/1926canfieldcollection/

Hand written note that the tune is "Turkey in the Straw".
