07 Jul 20 - 07:43 AM (#4063219) Subject: RE: Review: MacColl Seeger Australian Album From: Reinhard I've typed up the album details for No Tyme Lyke the Present from the above-mentioned eBay auction's photo. Even though it's an Australian release it was recorded at Decca Studios in the UK in 1976. Besides Ewan and Peggy, Calum and Neill MacColl, Alan Prosser and Ian Telfer were involved. |

09 Jul 20 - 10:20 PM (#4063578) Subject: RE: MacColl Seeger Australian Album From: Stewie I have a copy in my collection. It cost me $6.99 - the price sticker is still on the cover. The price of vinyl LPs has gone through the roof these days --Stewie. |
09 Jul 20 - 11:47 PM (#4063586) Subject: RE: MacColl Seeger Australian Album From: Sandra in Sydney thread drift - I have a used (rare) Australian LP I paid $1 for in the 70s (I liked its pretty cover which is why I bought it & ended up loving the songs, too) which is apparently worth several hundred today. A pristine copy of the same album was worth $1500 in the late 90s, & a pristine copy sold for over $4000 a few years ago. (Hush by Extradition) |
