No Christmas, No Carols?

In the UK we are threatened with little socialising well into 2021. I just heard of someone proposing a Messiah performance, one of my seasonal favourites. I know there are many Pub Carol sessions but my routine is The Royal at Dungworth, near Sheffield once a year. Some folks go every Sunday lunchtime after 11th Nov.
But everybody sings and there is not 2m spacing, doubtfully 2mm between those there.

Places with dense housing and a carol tradition could try the Italian balcony singing approach they invented early in the pandemic. Not really a goer in suburbia though.

Singing is a real spreader of this virus. Yet another sad, sad side issue.
