About 40 years ago I borrowed from Campden library an album by the Breton band Maluzerne. I wasn't able to pirate record it then but the tunes have stuck in my head ever since. I've found one upload on Youtube but I wonder about English groups that specialise in the older instruments - especially the hurdy gurdy which really suits my liking of drones. Any ideas peeps on English bands which use older instruments - not old songs, I've got enough of Albion, Steeleye, Horslips etc ..... or perhaps bands from other nationalalities ?????

I have one self-titled CD by Ad Vielle Que Pourra. You might like them.
