25 Dec 20 - 12:05 PM (#4084963) Subject: RE: BS: Bells at 6pm today!! From: leeneia My church has been meeting on Zoom since March, but yesterday (Christmas Eve) we had a service in the church parking lot. It was bitterly cold, and we stayed in our vehicles. Word had come from the neighborhood that the bells were missed, so at 5:30 pm a few Christmas carols were played from the carillon. After the service, two or three more. We did have a fire in our fire-pit, faithfully attended to by my dear husband. After the service, a few brave souls stood at the fire, wearing masks, and socialized. I joined them. |
