We got the following request from a longtime listener. I've searched your database, and every other one I commonly use, with no results. Ring any bells?? "Not sure of title: 'Tom and Rose'? I heard this on the radio about 25 years ago and haven't been able to find it online anywhere. It was sung by a solo male tenor/baritone singer with guitar accompaniment, which I know hardly narrows it down at all. The song had several verses, talking about the couple's life together; nothing dramatic happens in it. I've sung the chorus to my wife of 23 years on occasion and would just like to hear it again if possible, but I will not be heartbroken if you don't find it. Thank you for your effort.' The chorus is: You are my heart's delight, My sun, my moon, my stars at night; I will love you all my life Until my dying day." Thanks for any information you might have. I suspect it's someone local to Wisconsin, or else the greatest one-hit wonder in folk music. I would just love to be able to get back to the listener with the name of the song and artist. It was sung by every tenor on earth, and then some.
