She made a spectacle of herself on "Dancing with the Stars." I still remember that one judge, Bruno somebody, exclaiming: "I don't know what to say," and he always had a LOT to say. She stole the scene from Mary Tyler Moore AND Betty White on that television show, which is no mean accomplishment. She was a fellow classmate of Paul Lynde, of happy memory, She worked with everybody from Mel Brooks to Peter Bogdanovich. And her real-life husband was stolen from her by Joan Collins. She may have not been Elizabeth Taylor or Debbie Reynolds, but like Taylor, she could have had the epitaph "She lived." |

I remember her from her appearance on Gunsmoke. But she showed up almost everywhere and in many many movies. Fixed! That spelling was rather jarring! ---mudelf |

I looked her up on IMDb to be sure I remembered correctly - in a day when such a thing was possible but complicated, she was able to have a long durable career and still raise five children. |

She was a character actor par excellence. |
