Just came across this on BBC Radio 4extra.
Unfortunately, it's only available until 3am UK time on Sunday Feb 14th (but I'm going to try to download it).

"Lucy Neal goes in search of a home for the valuable archive of her once renowned great great aunt, Mary Neal, suffragette, social-worker, colleague and later adversary of Cecil Sharp during the great English Folk Dance revival at the start of the twentieth century.

I heard that a while ago. I could have done with less about housing the archive and more about Neal herself.

That BBC programme was first broadcast in 2007.

Lots of information about Mary Neal at Mary Neal ... an undertold story.

Her archive is in the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library here: Mary Neal Papers.
