She used her voice to mimic the guitar, an incredible technical feat, and did superb slide guitar. Certainly deserved to have been better known. And yes, McIlwaine tore the roof off the place. It would be nice to think of her getting a rousing welcome on the other side from those who were important to her and whom she lost, like Hendrix. |
