She used her voice to mimic the guitar, an incredible technical feat, and did superb slide guitar. Certainly deserved to have been better known. RIP. *********************************** According to Discogs, there was also a Canadian release of "Mystic Bridge" in 2006. I don't know how it compares with the 2007 CD. And yes, McIlwaine tore the roof off the place. It would be nice to think of her getting a rousing welcome on the other side from those who were important to her and whom she lost, like Hendrix. |
