BS: Senofou - where is she

Senofou has not posted for a month now. Does anyone know if she is OK.

I've always found her posts considered, gentle and pleasant despite the obvious differences in our politics.

I do hope she is well.

Yes you're right, I hope she and her husband are both OK.

She doesn't post as much these days as she used to. We had a PM discussion about crumpets (what else?) in May.

Do we wave crumpets about in the hope of attracting her?

That post from Eliza was only four weeks ago. Some people do have other interests in life and posting on mudcat may not be a priority.
I'm sure she will post when she chooses to. The rest of us should just be patient and stop badgering her.

Hope you are OK, Sen. All the best to both of you.

Has anyone badgered her, Jos? Surely if "she will post when she chooses to", she will also read this at her leisure too. No one is forcing anyone into anything. I think that your post is unecessarily aggresive towards people who only have her best interests at heart and is likely to turn what started as kind thoughts into bad feelings :-(

Eliza and I had a PM conversation a few weeks ago, and she and her husband were both very well at that point. She did say that she doesn’t spend as much time here as she once did, so that may well account for the lack of contributions recently. Plus, of course, there may not be much going on that attracts her attention?

Oh gawd, oh blimey! I feel very guilty for not coming on here for a bit. You're all so kind, and I'd hate anyone to have worries. Sorry for my absence. We're both fine, except husband is riddled with ghastly hay fever.
Please accept my apologies for being absent. (As a retired teacher, I might give myself detention and three black marks! hee hee)
We are both rather disappointed about the football. We had the house decorated with England flags, and have just taken them all down. Husband is gutted. All his England tracksuits, tops etc are folded away in his drawer.
Heartfelt good wishes to everyone, and thank you all so much for caring XXX

Glad to hear you are OK.
The only time we had the possibility of meeting was the year I was due to come to the Pottyfest but was taken ill and couldn't come, actually had to turn back after setting off. I was assuming I would recognise you OK!

Robin

Oh yes Robin, it would have been lovely to meet you in Sheringham. Husband in his African outfit, not many like that in North Norfolk, so I expect you would easily recognise us.
We've missed the Potty Festival so much, it was the highlight of the year (in addition to the Royal Norfolk Show)
Hope you are keeping well now.

Welcome back! <3

Do you want a crumpet for lunch?

Yes please!

Oh, but I only have these huge, dinner plate-sized ones! Is that OK?

Oh, in that case I'll just have a bit of crumpet...

You'll eat your lunch first, you naughty boy!

Thank you Nigel!
Husband had his second jab yesterday, and when the Big Baby got home, he said he felt he really needed some 'sustenance', which turned out to be an entire Aunt Bessie's apple crumble! I wonder if the Astra Zeneca jab requires apple crumble to improve its efficacy?
I merely had a crumpet (or two) after my second jab some weeks ago. There's very little sugar in crumpets, whereas crumbles are very sweet. I'm trying to protect him from developing Type 2 diabetes.
Apparently, black folk are more susceptible to prostate cancer, but he didn't fancy having a doctor sticking a finger up his bum. However, my sister told me there is now a more dignified blood test instead.
He told me he wants the new Norwich City football club's strip (£50 !!) so I'm going to have a look at their online shop.
I hope you are all well and staying safe. xx

It's years (late primary school I think) since I had a NCFC kit, Sen. A bit more recently, mum has a number 9 shirt with "Iwan Y Gorau" (Iwan, the best) on it. Iwan Roberts (who, unlike us, is a fluent Welsh speaker) signed it for her.

Subject: RE: BS: Senofou - where is she

Oh John, my husband would die for a 'signed shirt'!
This new one has a huge 'Lotus' logo on the front (sponsors) which in my view spoils the look a bit. But of course, he wants it.
Going around supermarkets in Sprowston and Fakenham, he's always in his Norwich FC outfits (or recently, until The Disaster', his England kit) and will insist on loudly proclaiming "NOOOOORWICH!!!! Come on you Yellows!" to no-one in particular. I always pretend I'm not with him and duck down the next aisle. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, I can hear a plaintiff, "Dahling, your Nigger eez loooking for you!" I need a burka/veil so I can remain anonymous!

This was at one of those (I think they called them) "roadshow" does where you could meet a few of the players, Sen. Iwan was born in Bangor, a place we mostly know through Irish sessions but not too far off our once Llanduno area so mum and he found a little to natter about in the brief chat - he came over as a really nice chap.

As for the rest, "Let's be 'aving you. Poor old Delia, the club may have folded without her support but I don't think she will ever live that one down.

Dearest Senofou, where are you?
We got some work to do now
Dearest Senofou, where are you?
We need some help from you now
Come on Senofou, I see you

The way you act so clever
You know we got a mystery to solve

And Senofou if you come through
You're gonna have yourself a Seno Snack, that's a fact
Dearest Senofou, where are you
You're ready and you're willin'
If we can count on you Senofou
I know we'll catch that villian
