(past tense) In two weeks the US government may shut down again if repubs don't vote to pay the bills that Trump rang up (5 trillion). Its called passing the debt ceiling. And isn't it strange the most of the people who post in BS are British? I don't hate anybody, but I don't enjoy Mudcat since the argumentative Brits have taken over the place, and most people from other countries have bailed. No more Germans, or New Zealanders, or Australians, of French, or Japanese, or Canadians, or who am I forgetting? They were here, once upon a time. Personally, I'd be happy if Max got rid of the whole BS section, but most of the funny, kind, and creative people have found somewhere else to be. I'm not sure why *I* am still here. (Probably some of the dedicated flame warriors are wondering, too.) So the British politics threads are limited to one, because otherwise, they never end, and allegedly, this is an American site that was hoping to attract people from ALL over - to post ABOUT MUSIC. I have no problem with the post eventually being deleted, BTW. |
