My first TP album was a vinyl LP, brought back from Chicago in the late 1960s by my very kind flatmate, who knew I liked folk music. I hadn't even heard of Tom then, but soon went and bought more albums, learned the songs, etc. |

Most recently, I shared "Bunny Wunny" which is much fun as well as historic for some of the youngers who weren't there. (And for some of us, another lead in to the Monty Python scene in "Holy Grail.) Also, the John Bobbit song, which gives me an opportunity to update the original story in which we have discovered, sadly, that he was very abusive, and that didn't come out until much later. But we did not know that then, and the song is hilarious in typically Tom Paxton fashion. And, of course, "Marvelous Toy," with the backstory of you in the typing pool at Fort Dix, "Peace Will Come," and of course, of course "The Last Thing On My Mind." Thank you, thank you!
