Probably because we were all dealing with the pandemic in our own way. Thanks are due to Ebbie who brought our loss to my attention. I can do no better than direct you to Lis" obituary. Clearly a wonderful person to have known. 25 Sep 22 - 04:43 AM (#4153599) Subject: RE: Obit: Elisabeth Marie 'Lis' Stork Saya From: Ebbie Lis was truly a remarkable person. Her kind doesn't come along very often. Talented, a good friend, curious, loving, active, great backup guitarist, enthusiastic violinist- and one thing the obit doesn't mention, she was a good painter too. She did some abstracts also but I really liked her realistic paintings. Her death is a great loss to the music community. Juneau won't ever be quite the same without her. |
