Can anyone help me with the lyrics of a Scottish Gàidhlig song by Donnie MacLeod called “Duan ‘s an tSeann Nòs”?

It’s from his album “Farewell My Love” from the late 1980s and it’s a contemporary song, so the lyrics don’t turn up in traditional song collections. I just love the way it sounds and would give anything to have the lyrics, but although I learned Irish in many years ago, I just don’t have the necessary proficiency in Scottish Gàidhlig.

I think the first line is something like “seinn mi òrainn an duan ‘s an t-seann nòs.” If anyone can give me the rest of it I would be so, so grateful. The song (without lyrics) is up on YouTube and Spotify and other services online, so quite easy to find.

Fingers crossed and thank you all in advance!

You would do better to ask on Scottish Gaelic discussion groups, or to contact the singer. If you can access facebook, there are several groups there for Scottish Gaelic speakers and learners.
